RUMA Policies
Everything clear. Everything considered.

Participant Waiver + Release
Pending attorney review
The complete legal document is being reviewed by our attorney and will be published here once it's final.
Before your first RUMA movement or wellness experience, we'll ask you to read and accept the RUMA Participant Waiver & Release. In plain words, it will ask you to understand that:
- Taking part is your choice, and physical activity carries some risk: soreness, strains, falls and other injuries can happen.
- You'll listen to your body, practice within your abilities, take breaks and stop when you need to.
- You'll tell your instructor about relevant injuries, limitations, pregnancy, recent surgery or anything else that may affect your practice.
- RUMA and its instructors do not diagnose, treat, or cure medical conditions. Our classes are not a substitute for medical care.
- RUMA may contact emergency services or arrange reasonable help if it's ever needed.
- Many RUMA experiences take place at venues RUMA doesn't own.
Permission to appear in RUMA photos or videos will always be its own, optional choice, never part of the waiver.
Terms & Conditions
Pending attorney review
The complete legal document is being reviewed by our attorney and will be published here once it's final.
Our complete Terms & Conditions (covering website use, accounts, reservations, payments, memberships, class packs, promotions, gift cards, products and pickup/delivery) are being finalized with our attorney. Until then, these are the terms you agree to when you create an account or book:
By booking with RUMA you agree to follow the teacher's guidance, tell us about injuries or pregnancy before class, and practice within your own limits. Cancel up to 24 hours before class and we return your credit. Later cancellations count as a late cancel and the credit is not returned.
Electronic delivery
You agree to receive receipts, invoices and notices from RUMA electronically by email. You can ask for a paper copy at no cost, or withdraw this consent, by writing to info@rumaofficial.com. You need an email account and a PDF reader to open documents.
Privacy Policy
Pending attorney review
The complete legal document is being reviewed by our attorney and will be published here once it's final.
Our full Privacy Policy is being finalized with our attorney. What we can tell you now:
- We collect what we need to welcome you: your name, email and phone, your RUMA account, bookings, memberships and purchases.
- Payments are processed securely by our payment provider. RUMA staff never see your full card number.
- Messages about your bookings and purchases are part of the service. Anything more, like news about upcoming experiences, is something you choose.
- Questions about your information? Write to us any time.
Cancellation Policy
Plans change. We understand, and you're always welcome back.
Cancel up to 24 hours before class and we return your credit. Inside that window, the cancellation counts as late and the credit isn't returned. Once an experience has begun without you, the reservation counts as used.
Cancel from My RUMA. Your eligibility is always shown before you confirm.
Refunds by notice
If you paid for an experience on its own, like a single class or an event ticket, your refund depends on how much notice you give: 48 hours or more before it begins, a full refund; from 24 to under 48 hours, a 50% refund; less than 24 hours, no monetary refund. Whenever you cancel before it begins, you can choose to keep the full value as RUMA credit instead. Cancel in My RUMA, then write to us with your choice and our team takes care of the rest, back to your original payment method.
Class credits and memberships
Cancel 24 hours or more before your class and the class credit comes back to you automatically. Inside 24 hours the cancellation counts as late and the credit is used, so if you'd rather keep its value as RUMA credit, write to us before the class begins.
No-shows
Once an experience begins without you and without a cancellation, the reservation counts as used: no refund and no automatic credit.
Arriving late
We recommend arriving 10–15 minutes before your experience begins so you can check in, get comfortable, and enter the space without rushing. For the comfort and safety of everyone in the room, late entry may not always be possible once an experience has begun; if it isn't, the reservation counts as used.
If RUMA cancels
This one is on us. If RUMA needs to cancel your experience, your class credit comes back to you automatically. If you paid for that experience on its own, you can ask for a full refund to your original payment method instead. Just write to us.
Weather + outdoor experiences
If weather makes an experience unsafe or impractical, we may move it indoors, change the location, reschedule or cancel. If it simply moves to a nearby suitable space at the same time, your reservation stays valid. If we reschedule and the new time doesn't work for you, you won't lose anything. Write to us and we'll make it right.
Schedule changes
Now and then we may need to substitute an instructor or change a venue. If the same experience still happens as scheduled, your reservation stays as it is.
When a class is full
A waitlist is on its way. Until then, places open up as plans change, so check the schedule again closer to the day.
Refund Policy
The cancellation and refund terms you agree to at checkout:
Plans change, and we understand. Cancel from My RUMA 24 hours or more before your class begins and the class comes back to your account: a class credit, or a class in your membership. Less than 24 hours before the start, the class is used. If you paid for a single class or a class pack, write to us before it begins and we'll keep its value as RUMA credit.
No-show: once a class has begun without you arriving or cancelling, the reservation is considered used, with no refund and no credit.
Arrive with time to settle in. We recommend arriving 10–15 minutes before your experience begins so you can check in, get comfortable, and enter the space without rushing. For the comfort and safety of everyone in the room, late entry may not always be possible once an experience has begun; a missed entry counts as a no-show.
This one is on us. If RUMA needs to cancel your experience, your class comes back to your account automatically, and if you'd rather have a full refund to your original payment method, just write to info@rumaofficial.com.
Refunds for a reservation follow the cancellation window: 48 hours or more before the scheduled start, 100%; 24 to under 48 hours, 50%; under 24 hours, no monetary refund; no-show, no refund. If RUMA cancels, 100% to the original payment method.
Class packs are non-refundable after first use. Unused class packs may be refunded only when required by applicable law or when RUMA expressly approves an exception, and credits can't normally be redeemed for cash.
Memberships: cancelling stops future renewals; it doesn't refund periods already paid, and your benefits continue through the end of the paid billing period.
To request a refund, write to info@rumaofficial.com. Refunds go back to the original payment method.
Class packs
Class packs are non-refundable once you've used a class from them, and their credits can't be exchanged for cash. The expiration date is shown before you buy.
Complimentary bookings
Complimentary reservations have no cash value, so canceling one doesn't create a refund.
Event Ticket Policy
Most RUMA events follow our standard cancellation and refund policies.
Special events
Some experiences ask more of us before they begin: prepaid materials, catering, outside vendors, collaborations or venue rentals. Those may be offered as Final Sale / Special Event, with their own terms shown clearly before you purchase. We'll never surprise you afterward with a stricter policy.
Membership Terms
Memberships are made for consistency. Before you join, you'll see the name, price, billing frequency and what's included.
Canceling a class
Member reservations follow the same cancellation window as every RUMA class.
Canceling your membership
Cancel any time online from My RUMA. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of your current billing period; periods already paid for aren't normally refunded, and your benefits continue until the period ends.
Pausing
Where a pause is available for your membership, you'll find it in My RUMA.
Auto-renewal
Memberships renew automatically at the price shown, every billing period, until you cancel. If you joined online, cancel or pause billing any time from your account (Account → Manage membership). You can also cancel by writing to info@rumaofficial.com or at the front desk. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
Product + Final Sale Policy
RUMA products are thoughtfully selected and offered as final sale. We are unable to accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, preference, or sizing. If something arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving it so we can make it right.
RUMA Baked + Beverage Policy
RUMA Baked and RUMA drinks are freshly prepared, so food and beverage sales are final. We can't offer returns, exchanges or refunds for preference or change of mind once an order is prepared, picked up or delivered.
If we give you the wrong item, something is missing, or there's a genuine problem with quality, tell us. We'll make it right with a replacement, RUMA credit or a refund, as appropriate.
Pickup Policy
Online ordering is on its way. These terms apply once it opens.
- Event Pickup — Complimentary
- Local Pickup — Complimentary
Because RUMA doesn't have a permanent studio yet, your pickup location, date, time window and instructions come with your order.
Prepared food and drink orders that aren't collected can't be refunded. Merchandise may be held for a stated period before we reach out about next steps.
Delivery Policy
Online ordering is on its way. These terms apply once it opens.
- Local Delivery — $6.99
- Extended Local Delivery — $12.99
Delivery fees are always shown before checkout. Please give us a complete name, address, apartment or unit, access instructions and phone number.
If an order can't be delivered because of an incorrect address, missing access, or no one available when needed, the delivery fee isn't refundable and another attempt may carry a new fee.
If RUMA makes the error, RUMA makes it right.
Gift Card Terms
Pending attorney review
Digital RUMA Gift Cards are coming soon.
The complete legal document is being reviewed by our attorney and will be published here once it's final.
Their complete terms will be shown before purchase. In general, gift cards:
- Can be used toward eligible RUMA purchases.
- Aren't refundable for cash, except where required by law.
- Can't be used to buy another gift card.
Any rules on expiration will be set only after legal review, and shown clearly before you buy.
Accessibility + Accommodations
We want you to feel expected here.
If you need an accommodation or have questions about accessibility at an upcoming RUMA experience, please reach out before your visit. Because our current experiences take place across different venues, accessibility features may vary. We'll be happy to confirm what's available and help where we reasonably can.
